The Heritage Chorale’s concert
program combines sacred and secular choral expressions
that evoke the life-giving, life-renewing spirit
of spring, such as Ave Verum by Camille Saint
Saens, Alleluia! O Praise the Lord Most Holy
by J.S. Bach, Open Thou Mine Eyes by John Rutter,
O Light of Life! by Mack Wilberg, short works
by Brahms, Copland, and Quilter, and a mix of
traditional folk songs, madrigals, and spirituals.
